Nicky Nole
My mother is German, Hungarian and Swedish. My dad is Native American from the Bad River Band of Chippewa Indians. The result of this mutt-like mixing has produced a look no one can quite pinpoint and the ability to go into almost any culture and have them recognize me as their own.
I graduated from Yale University with a degree in Socio-Cultural Anthropology and absolutely love meeting new people, trying new things and understanding how the world moves.
Straight out of school I was fortunate enough to secure a position as a WPP Fellow which meant I could pick where I worked and what I did for 3 years under the marketing conglomerate WPP. I lived in New York, Sydney, Hong Kong and London before settling in Singapore for 5 years where I decided to start my own global brand strategy and marketing consultancy, Bear Native.
Working with Toyota APAC and ME through Bear Native allowed me to secure a full-time position with Toyota Motor Sales USA in 2015. I absolutely loved my role of strategizing and planning future vehicle line-ups. When Toyota moved HQ to Dallas, TX I stayed in Los Angeles where I took senior roles with Coty and Cabeau.
Recently laid off due to the impact of COVID on Cabeau, I am excited to see where my career turns next.
In the meantime, I write thought pieces, mentor and enjoy LA sunshine. I am married to a pretty awesome guy who encourages me to find my passion and dream my dreams - all while helping to take care of our two little girls, Southern & Nori.
